ALROG EU-CONSULT
The new IPA Regulation supersedes
the five previously existing pre-accession instruments Phare, ISPA,
CARDS, SAPARD and Turkey Instrument under a single legal basis
With a total allocation of approx. EUR 200 Million, IPA aims to tighten the cooperation with candidate and potential candidate countries.
Differentiation between two strands:
CBC at borders between Member States and Candidates/potential Candidates (i.e. EU external borders).
CBC at borders among Candidates/potential Candidates (i.e. Western Balkan “internal” borders).
